I Dream Of…

I ask myself this and my answer is always to put in the work! Yesterday, I read an article from the Houston Chronicle about a former Texans linebacker and how he developed an after-pro sports career of manufacturing and selling furniture. This blew my mind because I dream of creating my own line of furniture one day. As you may know LA Warm & Fuzzy was the start of this with a pillow collection, ohhhh but the ideas I have!! The collaborations I have in mind because two are always better than one. This will happen in my own time, and I just LOVE seeing the representation.

Best Of Design…

Facebook reminders this week have been on it and I’m sharing these images because I’m consistently reminded my journey is not just for me. This week I was reminded this time three years ago I walked away from the USPS and SEVEN years ago I prayed to be able to walk away from the USPS or have my own company! I spoke it and here we are. This journey hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m still here. We shared last week our show house laundry room was featured in Modern Luxury Texas, but that wasn’t it. We’ve been named in the Best of Design Issue as Design Newcomer. Far from new, but nice to be seen. If you grab an issue please share it on social media and tag us.

Yes, you read that correctly! We've been featured on RedFin and want to assist more people in design; everyone deserves to love their home. Regardless of renting or owning. I was asked the question: How to stick to a budget when decorating a home - it’s simple. Hire a designer, trust the person you hired, and remember change orders cost money. Working with a designer can save you so much money in the long run. There are multiple ways you can work with a designer to fit your budget needs. Virtual design for budgets 10k or less is the more budget-friendly option for those who like to DIY. You just may need a little direction and you're off. Usually, with this service, you are able to still get the "look" with retailers you can access for your price point.

Recently, we've had a flood of inquiries for virtual design. I haven't offered this much before because I realized I love to be hands-on with our projects. I like to get to know my people; getting to know them helps me better make design decisions for you. We have figured out a way to offer you the LA Experience virtually and would love to assist you. We’re calling it a Shared Experience —get it? If you’re interested and have a 10K or less budget, let's work and note it in the comment box.
