An Old Chapter Closing…A New One Begins

Hey y’all! I know it’s been awhile and I have so much to catch y’all up on. I recently closed on selling my home. Pause for dramatic effects!!! During this #MeSeason I decided it was no longer serving me as it once did. Owning a home was apart of that “Dream” we all have been told and told we should want. It’s not a bad or good dream. There’s pros & cons to it all, BUT what it comes down to it all is what YOU decide and what serves YOU. I was over all the home maintenance. Grass, sprinklers, and etc. you know all the house things are your responsibility when owning a home.

At one point I was convinced I shouldn’t sell, because why sell your home? Rent it. You should have rental property! Investments etc. I didn’t want to make a bad decision, but who’s to say which is bad or good decision??…BUT I drew the line of adding landlord to my titles. I already do the most remember I’m the interior designer who loves events!

The house served its purpose! It was home for nearly 6 years. It has the early stages of Lauren’s design, but even that I was tired of looking at 😂🤣 and what I wanted to do would cause me to gut the entire house. I’m not the same designer— it all had to go and we’re starting over! Yep ALL the way over!!! I can’t wait to show you all the new designs and will be sharing the WHOLE process via the blog and IG stories. I can’t wait to share where we ended up, but let me tell y’all things about to get GOODT!
